No More Work till September

Friday was my last day of work. I will miss my little ones but I know they are in good hands. It is such a nice feeling to know that I will be home with our little girl for the next 6 months. Until then, I will be at home trying to get as much rest as I can while we play the waiting game.

Here are some pictures of my kiddies from last week :) My class and the other first grade class threw me a surprise going away party and a bunch of them brought gifts for the baby. They are so sweet. They have some a long way this year and can't wait to meet Callie Beth.

38 week appointment

I went yesterday for my 38 week appointment. Her heart rate was at 148. She is a very active little girl. She has completely dropped and ready to go. It has been a rough week with my muscles so Friday will be my last day of work! It will be nice to reast until she comes. I go back on Monday for my 39 week appointment and my doctor will check to see if I am dilated. At this point, it is just a waiting game.

37 week appointment

We went today for my 37 week appointment. My blood pressure is great with little swelling today. Callie Beth was wide awake and her heart rate was back in the 140s again. She has dropped which is great news! I have made it to full term so things could happen at any time.

As of now, my last day of work will be March 6th (unless she comes earlier).

Keep us in your thoughts and prayers. My 38 week appointment is next Wednesday, March 4th.

Surprise Baby Shower @ School

February 10th, the school that I teach at threw me a surprise baby shower. I can't believe they got away with it. I thought I was going to a staff meeting. It is VERY hard to surprise me. I am very lucky to have so many wonderful people that I work with!

36 week appointment

I went today for my 36 week appointment. Everything looked great. Her heart rate was a little lower than it has been but still in normal range. My ankles were quite swollen yesterday and today....probably because of the many meetings I have had and swimming lessons with the kids have not let me rest too much. My doctor said she thought they actually looked pretty good. Callie Beth hasn't dropped too much. Hopefully that will start happening soon to give my muscles a rest. I will now be going weekly and my next appointment is Tuesday :)

Baby Shower #2

Merrie (Jake's mom) threw me a baby shower last Saturday with Jake's family and some friends. It was in Corvallis at a hotel. Everything was beautiful. We had a great time and I got so many wonderful things.

34 week appointment

I went today for my 34 week appointment. This was the last time I had to see a different doctor. I have now met with all the physicans. The appointment was pretty quick. Callie Beth's heart rate was at 140. They did another ultrasound to make sure she has not turned back and she hasn't. She in position to come on out. My next appointment is in 2 weeks.

Jake's mom is throwing me a baby shower on Satuday which I am pretty excited about. It will be a lot of fun to get together with his family and some friends.

33 weeks belly

Here are the 33 week belly pics....keeps growing :) Also, here is a peek into Callie Beth's room. I got this cute monogram that matches perfectly! I go for my 34 week appointment Wednesday and will update you after that!
