Saturday, we had lots of errands to do in the Valley so we decided to make a day of it and head up to the Woodburn Tulip Festival. I LOVE tulips! We didn’t realize how big this festival it! We had a great time. Callie Beth enjoyed running around. It was hard work keeping her from not picking the tulips and to get her to smile with so much going on out there. It was absolutely beautiful! (excuse all the drool, CB has had 2 molars break through this weekend).

Little Person
We really haven’t been up to too much lately. Callie Beth is changing so much this month.
Callie Beth loves being outside. When it is nice, we try to spend a lot of time outside. One molar has broken through and two more are about to. Boy am I ready for teething to be over. She has began not eating much. She wants NOTHING to do with her baby food. She really loves bananas, eggs, watermelon, avocado and yogurt.
She is starting to understand so much more. The other day I asked her to bring Daddy his slippers. She went and grabbed one. I then asked for her to go get the other one and she did. Jake was shocked! Tonight she grabbed a towel. She tried to clean the floor with it and then went and hung it up on our towel rack that hangs on the cabinet. She is also putting away her toys in her basket or toy box. It is so neat to see them turn into little people.
Just happy!
This is not posed. She saw Daddy mowing the lawn. She got out her lawn mower and started mowing the deck. Since Jake was done with most of it, I put her on the other part of the yard. She wanted to do what Daddy was doing. I am so glad I grabbed the camera.
She LOVES the phone. She carries on conversations. When pretending, she talks, takes a pause (I’m guessing to let the other people talk) and talks again. Most of the time she says “Hi Dad”. or “Hello” Sometimes Hello is clear as day, other times you can just tell by the tone.

Not Sure
I was folding laundry on the couch and Callie Beth was in her high chair finishing up her lunch. Not sure why she was doing this but I turned to check on her and this is what I see: Her putting avocado in her hair and on her head.
Pitiful Callie Beth
So, last Friday (March 26th) CB went to the doc for her 1 year appt. I made a post that afternoon and everything was good (as good as it can be after shots). Around midnight she woke up and fussed. When this happens, we don’t go in and she is back to sleep within minutes. For some reason I went in (probably because I felt bad for her). When I went to lay her down she was BURNING up! I took her temp and it was almost 104. Then she started vomiting, all over her and myself. I was so worried that she was having a bad reaction to her shots. The doctor assured me it was just a coincidence and she probably had the flu. It was a long weekend (the flu, shots, and molars coming in).
Anyway, she was doing TONS better by Sunday night.
Here are some pictures from the weekend she was sick. She just sat in her pink crayloa chair and watched us clean the cars and put her big girls car seats in.
