Happy First Birthday Callie Beth!

This day has put a smile on my face and tears in my eyes.  I can’t believe our little girl is one today!  The past year has absolutely flown by.  She brings so much joy to our lives and just makes our hearts melt.  We have learned so much this year!  We have had our share of rumps in the road but worked through them.  She is a great baby!  I can’t imagine our lives without her. 

She has changed so much over the past year!

This time last year…

This time last year

We knew:

1. We were having a girl and would name her Callyn Elizabeth.  We would call her Callie Beth.
2. I was in LOTS of pain.
3. We could not wait to meet our daughter.

We did not know:

1. That we would not be meeting our little girl until the next day.
2. That we could stare at one thing for so long. 
3. That she was going to be a little chunker, weighing in at 8 pounds 4 ounces. 
4. That she was going to come out with a full head of hair. 

My Due Date…One Year Ago

Where does the time ago?  One year ago today, Callie Beth was due.  Of course she decided she did not want to be a winter baby and wait a couple more days for Spring to arrive.  I can not get over that our little girl is going to be one.  I LOVE this stage right now but boy do I miss those days when she was so tiny.

We can’t wait to celebrate her First birthday on Sunday.  And then of course, enjoy Spring Break.

Trouble!

Callie Beth is getting more and more curious each and every day.  Before, she would just play but now you have to keep a close eye on her because she is QUICK. 

For the wipes, I literally turned my back for 1 minute while cleaning and she had it almost emptied. 

She LOVES to stand at the dishwasher when I am doing dishes or the dryer when the I am doing laundry. 

Maybe she is just trying to help???
