Regan-4 months old!

Today Regan is 4 months old. I can't believe how fast time is flying by. She has changed a lot in the last couple weeks and her personality is starting to show. We are having so much fun and she provides us with lots of laughs. Here is what is going on with her now:

• Her eyes are still blue :)
• She has rolled over a couple times, both front-to-back, and back-to-front.
• She has found her feet. She loves to grab them and roll from side to side.
• She is a quiet baby.  She loves to watch what is going on around her.
• She has discovered toys and is starting to play with them.
• She will put anything in her mouth that she can get her hands on and can even get her fist in there when she tries.
• She will pick up her pacifier and try to put it back in her mouth.
• She gets it sometimes and gets really frustrated when she can't.
• She loves to be up: standing, jumping, walking, etc.
• She is constantly drooling or spitting.
• Her sleeping is very frustrating.  She is still up every 3 hours to eat through the night.  She nurses and goes right back to sleep.
• She usually takes 5 one hour naps.
• We are still nursing and will probably start rice cereal soon.
• Her hair is still falling out

I’ve been busy!  Applesauce, blackberry applesauce, apple butter, and strawberry jam.

Strawberry Picking

I have been wanting to go strawberry picking because I am almost out of my jam and needed to make more.  We headed out to the valley and boy, was it a HOT day!  We had a great time!  After about 20 minutes of picking, Erinne looked in Ben’s basket and asked him where all his berries were.  He said “in my belly”.

Camping-Cottage Grove 2014

We headed camping at Cottage Grove campground again this year.  We always have the best time.  The weather was perfect!

Regan – 3 Months Old!

Regan is 3 months old today!  Time really needs to slow down! Here is what’s new with her.

• Her eyes are still blue
• She is getting really strong and enjoys sitting up in someone’s lap or in the Bumbo. 
• She loves watching what is going on around her.
• She knows my voice and will turn her head to find me when she hears me.
• She has the biggest smile and gets so excited that she wiggles
• She only cries when she is hungry, tired, needs burped or changed.
• She is a great eater and still nursing 100%.
• She isn’t sleeping very well.  She sill wakes up every 3 hours to eat.  She likes to take cat naps during the day.  Every once in awhile she will give me a 4 hour stretch.  She can’t be awake for more than 2 hours before she wants to sleep again.  She sleeps best when she is being held or cuddling.
• She has found her voice and enjoying making all kinds of new sounds.
• She has also found her hands and likes putting them together and in her mouth.  She is starting to grab things.
• To let us know she is ready to sleep, her eyes get red.  She also yawns and rubs her eyes.
• Her hair is still falling out.
• She drools a lot and blows spit bubbles.
• Just like her brother and sister, she likes to bury her head to sleep.
