Benton County Fair

We took the kids to the Benton County Fair on Wednesday.  Jake had not been since high school because of always away for baseball.  We wanted to check it out.  I wasn’t too impressed (partially because I grew up going to the South Florida Fair).  We had a good time anyway!

So, Ben was doing so well on the rides and was asking: “no help on slide Mom.  I do it.” So I let him.  Love seeing the progression of not so sure at first but then loving it.  

Gwynn sleepover

The girls have been asking for quite awhile when we can have another sleepover.  The timing finally worked out! 

The girls had a great time but poor Ben kept getting kicked out.  Get used to it buddy!

After lots of playing and dinner, it was movie time  Of course there had to be princess dress up Time for bed…. They were up talking and giggling pretty late. 

Summer Festival: Day 2

I ran Nanny up to the airport Sunday.  We had a great visit and were sad to see her go.  After naps, we headed out to the Summer Festival for $5 rides.  We had a great time with the cousins!

I apologize for the quality of these.  A larger lady decided to sit right in front of these three cuties which then involved lots of cropping.  Note to self: put the little kids in front next time when taking pictures. Callie Beth is already asking about next year!

Summer Festival: Day 1

We headed out to the Summer Festival on Saturday.  We all had a great time :)  Wasn’t so sure about how Ben would react on the roller coaster.  After the first turn and dip, he let out the biggest evil belly laugh that I will never forget.  He is a roller coaster junkie!
