Despite the weather, I was DETERMINED to go to the beach. We made our way to Dubois (one of my favorite beaches growing up). There was a SMALL break in the weather when we got there. We got about 30 minutes of swimming and playing in before the rain and tornado warnings came.
The kids had a blast. Callie Beth cried when we had to leave. She doesn’t understand why you have to go inside when it rains in Florida.
After the beach, we headed to Uncle Joe and Aunt Laura’s house. It was Joey’s birthday the next day so we celebrated. It was so great to see then along with Uncle Walt and Aunt Kathy. Thank you so much for the sweet gifts for our kiddos!
